Fish Centre 56-58, Kinson Rd Bournemouth Dorset BH10 4AN Tel: 01202 528021 Whilst we have been trading for the past few years at dp fishways our main objective has been to supply top quality, well cared for fresh water tropical fish as well as general aquarium products and aquarium plants to the general public un like rod noris at tropical fish world he has been shut down by the environmental health for keeping poor fish in poor conditions.....Happy to help Darren & Paul Darren & Paul January 24th 2010 Report this review Rating:1 It is a shame that they have gone. The best fish shop in the area. Never had any illness or dodgy fish from this store (unlike most others in area). I will miss them. Great selection of fish and weed - if they can not make it work there can not be much hope for the others. Jason Lawford January 1st 2008 Report this review Rating:10 My family have used this shop since i was a very small child, my dad never went any where else for his huge collection of angel fish. I`ve always gone to these people for advise and all my fish have been brought from this shop and never had a problem once. i`ve had tropical and and cold water fish from them, and they have always been very healthy. Clari Dale October 9th 2006 Report this review Rating:10 This shop has now gone bankrupt and lets face it, its no loss Bob Morris October 3rd 2006 Report this review Rating:1 Avoide this place..... I got some loverly pleco's here and killed all my other fish with a very bad bacterial gill infection All tanks a very small and cramped Do you self a favour and stay away. March 16th 2006 Report this review No rating for this comment? Why What can be said The tropical system in all indvidual tanks, all of which is over crowded. Most fish look very poor, clamped fins and shimming around. I never buy tropical coz the surival rate is so low, and desiease can be spreed easily from there. Their Marine section looks stunning and much better than their tropical system's. Their cold water system is on a massive TMC filter system and looks good. Just watch out on their tropical's rest is good. Helter Helterskelter February 20th 2006 Report this review No rating for this comment? Wheathill Lane Aquatics Things have changed a lot since the new owners took over in January 2007, more fish, more fish tanks, more products with advice and assistance second to none. The new owners have over 17 years in the aquatics industry, they reliably inform me that there should be a total revamp within the next 18 months with new aquariums being installed into their sales area.... definitely worth giving them a ring if you have problems. Sam Ellis June 13th 2007 Report this review No rating for this comment? Why Hmmm. Not to impreeesed by this one. The fish looked very unhealth and their so called fish world only had one aquarium for sale. When i went into there they all stood at the side staring at me and wispering to eachother. It was very embarrasing. You don't want ot get your fish from here. Trust me. Felicity May 7th 2006 Report this review No rating for this comment? Why Do you agree? click here to add your review |

| Pond Life 123, Radipole Lane Weymouth Dorset DT4 9SS Tel: 01305 766490 Two orders placed via the internet. One to the living seas and one to premier aquatics. Turns out that they are the same company. First order cancelled when it transpired that they had no intention of fulfilling the delivery terms stated on their website. Over two months to get a refund, company wholly contravened the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations. Refund was only given when Trading Standards involved and they were left in no doubt that Small Claims action would be taken. Second order was half fulfilled two weeks late. Although I was told that the other items had been despatched and given a consignment tracking number it transpired after several weeks that they had never been dispatched as they had never been in stock. I cancelled the rest of the order. Eventually 2 months later I received one of the outstanding items and a refund on the missing item despite being cancelled months before. I have received abusive answer phone messages, been lied to and as a result recommend that nobody goes near this company. According to the Practical Fishkeeping website the assets of The Living Seas or Aquamagic International Ltd (among its many trading names) having been taken over and are now under new management. Personally I will never be tempted by their prices again. The low prices really were too good to be true! Dissapointed March 16th 2009 Report this review Rating:1 Pond Life closed several years ago. Waited in all next day for nothing, when I contacted them was told stuff was not in stock and would have to be ordered in and would take a week and that someone should have phoned to let me know, finally received e-mail with courier tracking number and kept checking but never updated so I contacted courier and was told that shipping label had been created days earlier but they still had not been given goods.Phoned shop who are arrogant and obviously don't care for customers and was told that goods where now being sent via post and I would receive in a few day and when asked, refused to refund extra postage paid for next day delivery as it was only a couple of pound, just waiting to see now if goods ever turn up.If I could give this a rating of zero very poor then I would avoid, avoid, avoid Jon October 2nd 2008 Report this review Rating:1 I have nothing but praise fo these guys who do a wonderful job. Staff are rude, shop is a mess, and tank/stock are not in very good shape! So put simply AVOID! fishguy May 12th 2008 Report this review Rating:1 poor water quality, verually no marine experience and very poor advice, tropical tanks overstocked (70+ cichlids in a 2ft tank) deformed fish, dead fish, desease, poor filtration! filthy premesis! rude owners.. blackjack March 24th 2008 Report this review Rating:1 I went to this shop as a complete novice and asked for advice, oh how I wish I had done research elsewhere first! I bought 60 litre tank and asked what fish I should buy I ended up with two Plecs and male and female guppies! The plecs were tiny then and I was told they would not outgrow the tank. When they did start to grow huge I went back to the shop and asked what I should do they said to take them back and I could swap them for little ones! I don't think my poor plecs would have met with a happy end had I done this so I went elsewhere and had to buy a massive tank for them instead. savetheplecos February 16th 2008 Report this review Rating:1 Do business with these people at you peril. Rude and unhelpful staff. If you order to be delivered by courier and the goods do not arrive don't expect any help! Anthony Edmonds January 24th 2008 Report this review Rating:1 I have bought around 5 fish from these guys and all have died. Foolishly I didn't specify what fish in the tank I wanted and I ended up with 3 female guppies all with bad fin rot. I had only kept a tank for short period of time and new very little, they have also given me the wrong medicine, giving me marine rather than freshwater, needless to say I have never went back. I suggest you don't!!!! Dave January 7th 2008 Report this review Rating:1 As far as i can see from the experience i have had in Living Seas, it is a wonderful place to go.
