I was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff and their willingness to spend ages with us answering all sorts of questions. I used to shop in ASHFORD AQUATICS very often, and some times spending up to �100 each visit. This was until however, I took back a bag of Substrate for a refund. They then smirked at me whilst explaining they did not have to issue a refund. It was almost like they enjoyed telling customers to basically sod off, they did offer me a credit note, but by this time I said they could keep the bag as clearly needed it. When I asked to speak to the owner or an email a complaint, the manager said no point, I deal with all the complaints not the owner! The manager in particular looks miserable when ever I have visited. So good luck shopping at Ashford Aquatics, just don't expect a refund if you purchase too much or purchase in error! Always in stock are the more regualar species such as the yellow tang, regal tang, and clown fish. There is an excellent range of freshwater species too.
