Why I bought a Yemen Chameleon from Erskine Aquatics i found that the information i was given was top notch I took one of the books and found that the information on care and habitats was nearly identical to the info i had been given, i bought a complete setup for the chameleon, the price i paid was the cheapest in the area of North Wales. The shop is like a tardis as it appears very small but goes back along way. The livestock of fish was unbelievable there was over 150 stocked tanks and the quality was immaculate. I bought a Trigon 350 corner tank and it was nearly £400 cheaper than the next closest marine stockist to me and they swapped the freshwater T5 bulbs for the best reef bulbs. I saw on another website that this stockist had won awards so I expected decent fish, some were, however some tanks had severe fin rot, some cloudy water, some dead fish (on bottom some stuck to filter). Even my daughter who is a complete novice spotted some of the problems, and said don't buy any fish from here. This was about 1 ish, so had the staff even looked at the fish that day??? The plastic bag containing the plastic parts was ripped open and the contents loose in the box. The outer frame was broken. I contacted the shop, they said they would supply a new frame. This arrived this morning (13 Oct 06). It was second hand, covered in pond weed and dirt and stank to high heaven. Contacted the shop again and they said they thought they'd cleaned it up better than that! So I put it to them that they were knowingly supplying second hand goods.
